A Prog Rocker, a Funk Fan, and a John Mayer Enthusiast walk into a bar … and out walks Trio 111, a unique rock outfit from Northern Virginia that formed in 2018 and have brought their high energy show to many Mid-Atlantic venues and events. They joined forces to celebrate good music, diversity, and all types of abilities. They play a combination of their own original music and their interpretations of the greatest alternative rock. They recently released their first EP, Wammie Awards finalist for Best Rock Album, “The Ridge.” Their start came through playing community events and giving back to the community remains a part of their identity. Since their start, they've competed and placed in band battles, headlined summer concert series, played for local dignitaries, and formed their own shows in collaboration with other local bands. They've built a large following in the DC-metro area and have performed at local festivals, community events, and renowned venues like Jammin Java and The Fillmore.
